SOE reads engine and transmission data over OBD2 on LS1 V8 Commodores (VT, VX, VU, VY and VZ) and on all VZ, VE and VF Commodores, V6 and V8. Other VR to VY engines use ALDL: for those, use Advanced Engine Diagnostics (AED).

No. This listing is the software only. SOE is designed for use with our ELM327 OBD2 cable, sold separately. Already have an Envyous ELM327 cable? You can use it with SOE.
No. Those engines use ALDL (OBD1). Use Advanced Engine Diagnostics (AED) with our ALDL Cable v2 instead.
Each licence registers the software to one computer. A licence serial can only be used once and can't be transferred to another computer later. See Software Licensing for the details.
Yes. Registration needs an internet connection, and offline activation isn't available.
A genuine, activated copy of Windows 10 or 11. Virtual machines and emulators aren't supported. See Computer Requirements.
Your licence serial is emailed to you after purchase and is also available in your account. Download the software installer from our Downloads page.
Make a full image backup of your computer after you register the software. Licences can't be reissued, so the backup is how you get your licence back after a crash or wipe.
