The Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) — also called the ABS module — on your VF Commodore or HSV Gen-F manages anti-lock braking, traction control and stability control. When it fails or is replaced, the module needs to be security linked to your VIN before the system will operate, and the steering angle sensor needs to be relearned after any alignment work or steering column service.
All work is done in the vehicle via OBD-II using OBDSync on a Windows laptop — no need to remove or ship the EBCM. Includes the scantool and a 3-token redemption serial so you’ve got everything needed to complete the job.

OBDSync runs on Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit only). A laptop is recommended so you can sit in the car with the scantool plugged into the OBD-II port. A free USB-A port is required.
