The Transmission Control Module (TCM) manages the automatic transmission — shift points, line pressure and shift quality. Flashing the latest factory calibrations can resolve shift-quality issues and update the transmission’s behaviour, while a replacement or second-hand TCM must be VIN-security-linked to your vehicle before it will operate.
This is a DIY kit. We ship you an OBDSync scantool plus the tokens needed to license the module — you run the programming yourself at home using a Windows laptop, and the module never has to leave your vehicle.
