This kit is for the early JH Cruze (MY11–MY12) factory radio that was fitted before the Mylink upgrade. If your Cruze has a touchscreen Mylink head unit (most MY13–MY16 cars), use the dedicated JH Cruze Mylink Radio Programming Service listing instead.
The pre-Mylink Radio (RAD) head unit fitted to early JH Cruze (MY11–MY12) handles audio, basic Bluetooth phone, USB / aux media, and steering-wheel control input. When the RAD is replaced — or you want to push the latest factory calibrations — it needs to be security linked to your VIN so the immobiliser and steering wheel controls work correctly.
All programming is done in the vehicle via OBD-II using OBDSync on a Windows laptop — no need to remove or ship the radio.
