The Power Steering Control Module (PSCM) in your JH Cruze drives the electric power steering (EPS) assist motor, varying steering effort with vehicle speed and load. When the PSCM is replaced — or you want to push the latest factory calibrations — the unit needs to be security linked to your VIN and the steering angle sensor re-learnt before the EPS warning light clears.
All programming is done in the vehicle via OBD-II using OBDSync on a Windows laptop — no need to remove or ship the PSCM.
