The JG was the first-year Cruze model (2010 only) and uses different ECM hardware to the JH facelift (2011–2016). This kit is for JG only. JH Cruze listings coming separately.

About This Service

The Engine Control Module (ECM) in your JG Cruze controls fuel injection, ignition timing (petrol) or fuel rail / DPF management (diesel), plus the immobiliser handshake. When the ECM is replaced — or you want to push the latest factory calibrations — the unit needs to be security linked to your VIN before the car will start and run correctly.

All programming is done in the vehicle via OBD-II using OBDSync on a Windows laptop — no need to remove or ship the ECM.
