The HVAC (Climate Control) module in your Chevrolet SS controls dual-zone cabin temperature, blower fan speed, air distribution, A/C compressor engagement and the air-mix actuator motors. When you fit a replacement or second-hand HVAC module — or replace an actuator — the unit must be VIN-security-linked to your vehicle and the latest calibrations flashed before the climate system operates correctly.
