The Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) in your Chevrolet SS handles the Brembo brake-equipped ABS, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), traction control, launch control (on manual cars), and brake pressure modulation. When you fit a replacement or second-hand EBCM, it must be VIN-security-linked to your vehicle and the steering angle sensor re-learned before ABS / ESC will operate correctly.
This is a DIY kit. We ship you an OBDSync scantool plus the tokens needed to license the module — you run the programming yourself at home using a Windows laptop, and the module never has to leave your vehicle.
