The Electronic Climate Control (ECC) module on your Gen5 Camaro drives the HVAC fan, blend doors, A/C compressor request and (where fitted) dual-zone temperature split. When replaced, the new unit needs to be security linked to your VIN, have its actuators relearned, and loaded with the correct factory calibrations before climate control will operate.
All programming is done in the vehicle via OBD-II using OBDSync on a Windows laptop — no need to remove or ship the ECC.
