The Body Control Module (BCM) on the 2014–2017 Caprice PPV is the central body-electrics computer — lighting (DRL, fog, LED tails, puddle, plate, dome), central locking, remote start, remote windows, TPMS, theft alarm, speed limiter, sunroof, heated seats, paddle-shift wiring and dozens of factory option flags. Once your build options are flashed correctly, the matching dash icons appear, the remotes work, and the lights behave the way the factory build sheet specified.
This is a DIY kit. We ship you an OBDSync scantool plus the tokens needed to license the module — you run the programming yourself at home using a Windows laptop, and the module never has to leave your vehicle.
