$350.00
Program your Chevrolet Caprice PPV (2011–2013) Body Control Module (BCM) at home — flash calibrations, VIN-security-link a replacement, enable remote start, switch transmission type and tweak lighting / horn chirp behaviour. DIY OBDSync kit — includes the scantool plus 4 tokens.
Note: the 2011–2013 PPV BCM does NOT support BCM Theft Security Locking (2014–2017 PPV only). The same kit also programs other PPV modules at $50 per token.
Flash the latest factory operating system and calibrations to your Caprice PPV BCM, VIN-security-link a replacement, enable remote start, switch transmission type and tweak lighting and horn-chirp behaviour. We ship you an OBDSync scantool plus 4 tokens so you can complete the programming yourself — and unlock dozens of other Caprice PPV module functions too — from home.
The Body Control Module (BCM) in your Caprice PPV is the central body-electrics computer — lighting (DRLs, dome, indicators), central locking, horn chirp, remote start, transmission-type-dependent behaviour, brake pedal position, and the immobiliser handshake with the SDM primary key. When you swap in a replacement or second-hand BCM it must be VIN-security-linked to your vehicle, the brake pedal position learned, and the SDM primary key re-paired before everything works correctly.
This is a DIY kit. We ship you an OBDSync scantool plus the tokens needed to license the module — you run the programming yourself at home using a Windows laptop, and the module never has to leave your vehicle.
Same kit, more capability: the OBDSync software also programs the IPC, ECM, TCM, ABS/EBCM, radio, HVAC and other Caprice PPV modules. Each additional module is licensed separately with its own tokens, and some modules need more than one token (tokens are $50 each), so once you’ve got the kit you can take care of future programming any time — just add the tokens you need.
This kit unlocks the full set of Body Control Module functions available through OBDSync for your Caprice PPV (2011–2013):
Suits all Chevrolet Caprice PPV (Police Pursuit Vehicle) models built between 2011 and 2013 — all PPVs have a BCM:
The 2011–2013 Caprice PPV BCM does NOT support the BCM Theft Security Locking procedure (the anti-OBD-key-coding lock available on VF Commodore and 2014–2017 PPV). If you want that protection, you’ll need the 2014–2017 Caprice PPV BCM listing.
We post you the OBDSync scantool along with the tokens needed to license your BCM. Plug it into your car’s OBD-II port, connect to a Windows laptop, and follow the on-screen prompts.
The hardware that connects to your car’s OBD-II port and talks to your laptop. Yours to keep for future diagnostic and programming work.
Universal OBDSync tokens used to license your module. The BCM needs 4 tokens — exactly what’s included. Want to program another module later? Add more tokens at $50 each; some modules need more than one.
You will need a laptop running 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 to run the OBDSync software. The software does not run on macOS, Linux, ChromeOS or mobile devices.
When you add this product to your cart you’ll be asked to enter your vehicle’s 17-character VIN. We’ll contact you after your order if there are any other questions.
This listing is for the DIY programming kit only — no Body Control Module is supplied.
