About This Kit

The Body Control Module (BCM) in your Holden Trax is the central body-electrics computer — lighting, central locking, brake pedal monitoring, transmission interlocks and option flags. After OS / calibration updates, or after brake pedal sensor work, the brake pedal position needs to be re-learned.

This is a DIY kit. We ship you an OBDSync scantool plus the tokens needed to license the module — you run the programming yourself at home using a Windows laptop, and the module never has to leave your vehicle.

ⓘ Heads up: the Trax BCM does not support VIN security linking via OBDSync. If you’ve fitted a wrecker BCM and need it security-linked to your vehicle, that has to be done by a dealer / authorised workshop — this listing only covers the calibration flash and brake pedal position learn.

Same kit, more capability: the OBDSync software also programs the IPC, ECM, TCM, ABS/EBCM, radio, HVAC, KEM, PACM, PSCM, SDM and other Trax modules. Each additional module is licensed separately with its own tokens, and some modules need more than one token (tokens are $50 each), so once you’ve got the kit you can take care of future programming any time — just add the tokens you need.
