The Engine Control Module (ECM) in your Holden Trax manages fuel injection, ignition timing, throttle response, idle control and the immobiliser handshake. When you fit a replacement or second-hand ECM, it must be VIN-security-linked AND immobilizer-security-linked to your vehicle before the engine will crank and start.
This is a DIY kit. We ship you an OBDSync scantool plus the tokens needed to license the module — you run the programming yourself at home using a Windows laptop, and the module never has to leave your vehicle.
