The Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) in your 2014–2017 Caprice PPV is the central driver display — speedo, tacho, fuel and temperature gauges, warning lights, odometer, Driver Information Centre and the hidden Performance Menu (0–100, lap timer, G-meter). When you fit a replacement or second-hand cluster, it has to be VIN-security-linked to your vehicle AND configured for the exact options your build has — transmission, HUD, nav, TPMS, sport shift, and the bulb-out warnings for each headlight, brake light and plate light.
This is a DIY kit. We ship you an OBDSync scantool plus the tokens needed to license the module — you run the programming yourself at home using a Windows laptop, and the module never has to leave your vehicle.
