The Heads Up Display (HUD) projects speed, gear, navigation and warnings onto the windscreen in your 2014–2017 Caprice PPV. When you fit a replacement or second-hand HUD, it must be VIN-security-linked to your vehicle and the desired startup logo selected (or deleted) before the projection comes up correctly on power-on.
This is a DIY kit. We ship you an OBDSync scantool plus the tokens needed to license the module — you run the programming yourself at home using a Windows laptop, and the module never has to leave your vehicle.
