The HVAC (Climate Control) module in your Caprice PPV controls cabin temperature, blower fan speed, air distribution, and the air-mix / mode / recirculation actuator motors. The PPV ships in either single-zone or dual-zone climate trim — if you swap the module from a donor car with a different zone configuration, the HVAC needs to be reconfigured for the right zone type, and any new actuator motors have to learn their end-stops before the climate system runs correctly.
This is a DIY kit. We ship you an OBDSync scantool plus the tokens needed to license the module — you run the programming yourself at home using a Windows laptop, and the module never has to leave your vehicle.
