About This Service

The Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) in your JH Cruze handles ABS, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), traction control, hill-hold, and brake pressure modulation. When the EBCM is replaced — or you want to push the latest factory calibrations — the unit needs to be security linked to your VIN and its sensors (wheel speed, yaw, steering angle) re-learnt before the ABS / ESC warning lights clear.

All programming is done in the vehicle via OBD-II using OBDSync on a Windows laptop — no need to remove or ship the EBCM.
